3D Pokémon Trading Card - Pikachu

This was a late night, sleep-deprived idea that POdragon had about a week back, and then it appeared! It's not just a Pokémon trading card, but a 3D Pikachu!

It's a really simple model that has a terrific finish.

Personally, I'm not actually sure what this Pokémon card trading game is all about, even though I did read the Wikipedia article. But what I do know is that it is definitely not like Uno or Snap.

Download it here.

Yes, this was designed by Paperpokés team member, POdragon, as a gift for nintendopapercraft.com. It was first featured there before we posted it here. There is another one coming seoon, watch out for it on nintendopapercraft.

Great model. Really. I'm just wondering if you could possibly scale it down to the actual sixe of a pokemon card? I think it would be really cool to have a "pocket sized" version, that is actual size. By the way, I never saw the other model on nintendopapercraft.com

I love that you choose the POP6 art for this card! Though I would've prefered some art by Atsuko Nishida. Though as someone mentioned it's very similar in a way to Magic the Gathering, and similar card games. It's easier when played rather than reading about it. It's a far cry from UNO or Snap. Though I've only played it a bit, I'm more of a collector.

I don't get this. Is it just a normal 3D card, or does the pikachu pop out, or is it something else?

@Richard: the pikachu pop up a little bit from the card. so it's really 3d.

I actually thinned mine out by cutting the edges off the front of the card so I could glue the back directly to the front. It can't stand up on it's own, but it gives a cool effect.

Is This Officially Usable? I'd really Like to Show it Off to my Friends(TM :)
at school... O.O

Unfortunately no, you couldn't shuffle it without ruining it :( It's really fun to show off anyway though.
